INGREDIENTS
Whole Milk | 140 ml |
Water | 100 ml |
Rolled Oats | 50 g |
Culinary Grade Matcha | 1 tsp. |
Vanilla Sugar, best homemade | 1/2 tsp. |
Honey | 2 tbsp. |
Sea Salt | 1 pinch |
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine the milk, water and vanilla in a medium saucepan and set over medium heat until boiling. Reduce the heat to low add the rolled oats and one pinch of salt. Cook and stir the mixture occasionally, while heating it up.
2. After about 5 minutes the oats will get soft after absorbing all the liquid. Remove immediately from the heat when your desired consistency is reached.
3. Sift in the matcha powder and add your sweetener of choice into the oatmeal. Stir well with a spoon or silicon spatula until everything has been well incorporated.
4. Cover the oatmeal and let stand for 2-3 more minutes until set.
5. Divide the matcha oatmeal into serving bowls or jars and top with your fruits, nuts, and seeds of choice.
6. Top with some banana-, kiwi- and almond slices as well as blueberries, coconut flakes and chia seeds, if liked.
